Is the Monstera Method only for Dallas businesses?
No. I'm based in Dallas and work with service businesses across the US, Canada, and beyond. The method works wherever your customers search, because it's built around your real service area.
A monstera grows big and healthy, but only when it gets what it needs. Your business works the same way online. This is the system I use to give it what it needs.
Most local businesses have a website that says one thing and a Google Business Profile that says another. Google reads both. When they don't match, it can't tell what you do or where you do it, so it shows someone else.
The Monstera Method fixes that in three layers:
The order matters. Each layer makes the next one work harder.
This is the foundation, and it's where most of the gains come from.
Your Business Profile tells Google your categories (what kind of business you are) and your services (what you sell). Your website should mirror that exactly:
When the profile and the site say the same thing, Google stops guessing. It gets a clear signal about what you do and where you do it. That's what moves you up in the map pack, the three businesses Google shows above the regular results.
The same structure is what AI tools read. When someone asks Claude, ChatGPT, Perplexity, or Google AI Overviews for a recommendation, those tools pull from your site structure, your schema (behind-the-scenes code that tells a computer what your business is), and your profile. A clear structure gets you named. A messy one gets you skipped.
Here's the tradeoff: building it right takes real pages with real depth, not thin pages with the city name swapped. That's more work up front. It's also why the results hold.

Services
Structure gets you found. Activity tells Google, AI tools, and real people that you're still open and still working.
That means:
Why it matters: people check your social pages before they call. They want to see that you're real and active. A Facebook page with nothing since 2023 makes a prospect wonder if you're still in business.
No single channel carries the method. It's all of them together, pointing at the same business, that makes it strong. I think of them as signals. The more of them that agree, the more Google and AI tools trust what they see.
Ads aren't part of the method itself. They sit on top of it.
Google Ads put you in front of buyers right away, while the structure builds. But the traffic stops the day the spend stops. And ads sent to a weak website mostly pay for clicks that don't turn into calls.
So the order is structure first, activity second, ads third. When ads land on a site that's already built to rank and convert, every dollar works harder.
One thing I tell every client: ad spend goes to Google or Meta, not to me. My management fee is separate, and you'll always see both.

A siding contractor in Thaxton, Virginia went from the top 3 at 2 of 137 points in its service area to the top 3 at all 137 points. That took ten weeks, from June 4 to August 10, 2026. The biggest fix was making the profile and the site agree on what the business actually does.

Regular SEO often treats your website and your Google Business Profile as two separate jobs. The Monstera Method treats them as one system. Lining them up is where most of the ranking gains come from.
No. Ads are optional. They amplify a system that already works. Plenty of businesses rank well on structure and steady activity alone.
